Financial Services Clients Leverage Interxion Financial Hub
Interxion continues to attract, serve and partner with a diverse set of capital markets participants.
The recent
Equiduct and
Quote MTF announcements demonstrate how the Interxion City of London data centre has become the place to be for liquidity venues with high-growth potential to offer their members the possibility to cost-effectively connect at low-latency. Whether these venues are just starting or whether they continue to survive a competitive landscape, they are looking to build lean structures whilst increasing reach and securing reliable liquidity providers. The Interxion London City Financial Hub offers the right environment with significant concentration of proprietary trading firms, as well as access to all of the major sell side firms, in close proximity to all major MTF’s and Exchanges. This will become increasingly important as MiFID 2 prompts venues towards more transparency and non-discretionary access.
But it is not all about London … through its pan-European footprint of 28 data centres, covering 11 countries, Interxion is able to enhance access to continental liquidity pools as well. This includes local MTF’s like
Burgundy , who after migrating to our
Stockholm data centre significantly increased market share on the OMXS30, as well as major global, multi-asset pools like Deutsche Börse Group in Frankfurt, where we have just launched the
shared access solution. This solution demonstrates Interxion’s ability to effectively leverage its deep knowledge of the local financial services landscape in each of the markets to deliver value to market participants and exchanges alike. Within the first week of this solution becoming available,
ICF was the first ISV to sign up for this service.
Last, but not least, the relationship with
NYSE Euronext has now moved from Interxion being a trusted supplier to one of strategic partnership. In addition to the broad European SFTI PoP coverage offered at our Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London data centres, our City of
London Data Centre has now been selected by NYSE Euronext for their new range of managed services (including market data and risk management).
