Consider the facts
Proposals, client data, reports, financial data, databases, design specifications and manuals can take years to develop and can cause major business disruptions when lost. The Gartner Group reports that three out of five businesses that experience total data loss go out of business within two years. It pays to ensure your data backup and restore solution works first time, every time.
A recent survey conducted by The Gartner Group indicated that 64% of small to medium-sized businesses back up their data on-site, not off-site - a disaster waiting to happen. Some 60% of backups are incomplete, 50% of restores fail, only 25% of tapes are stored off-site and end user compliance with backup policy is only 8%.
Interxion Secure Data Service provides a complete turnkey solution (see SDS architecture) that unravels the complexities of backing up and recovering your important data. Backing up data and restoring it never was so easy.
You install a single piece of software on one server. The SDS software is then used to configure and schedule backups from all data on your LAN, enabling full end-user control over data-backup. The SDS software pulls a copy of the data from the source, compresses and encrypts it and then transmits only the changed data since the last backup over the internet to Interxion's SDS Vault.
