Interxion's Secure Data Service is set apart from most other vendors because it is built on enterprise class hardware and utilizes leading edge backup and restore software. Backed up data is stored in an Interxion SunToneTM certified data center, and replicated to a secondary disaster recovery data center.

Interxion offers SDS in three distinct packages, each one being supported by industry-leading Service Level Agreements:

  • The basic service offers a 99.8 % SLA on the availability of the vault. Support for backups of databases, such as Oracle, SQL and Exchange is included.
  • The standard service offers a 99.9 % SLA on the availability of the vault. Backed up data is periodically replicated to a secondary storage array located in another SunTone™ certified Interxion data center. Standard also offers you the ability to backup exchange data on an individual mailbox or email level as well as the ability to store a copy of the data stored off-site locally as well. On-line File Summary is extra functionality that allows you to scan on-line files for statistical purposes.
  • The advanced SDS service offers the highest level of backup and restore service. It includes all from standard plus special tools to manage your SDS budget over multiple departments or users and special incentives against data loss. The advanced service offers a 99.99 % SLA on the availability of the vault.
