The Project Management Officer (PMO) is our central focus point for all changes in the ever dynamic Interxion IT-infrastructure. Within our infrastructure team your role will be an important one as you will manage, coordinate and monitor suppliers as a junior project manager. You will bring your excellent organizational skills to manage these projects and will organize and prioritize all changes. You facilitate the consultancy firms that work with us and for us.

Our team

The PMO is part of the IT Infrastructure cross border team of system - and network engineers. The team is small, very informal and communication is straightforward. We are professional and driven, to reach our goals it is important that you are a team player. Our lunch with the entire team in our brand-new kitchen is already legendary.  Our 4 ICT teams, Service Delivery, Database Development, Infrastructure and Application Development are based in the Schiphol-Rijk HQ office and in London. The team services all international Interxion locations.

Your Job

Are you a communicator and do you thrive in an environment where you coordinate IT change projects with internal and external parties?  Read on! You are the central point for the ICT infrastructure team for infrastructure projects. You collect project- and change requests and map them into a planning based on the Infrastructure roadmap and coordinate presence and assistance of all 3rd parties involved. Your excellent monitoring skills and result orientation drives changes to be executed in time.

Your drive, enthusiasm and hands-on mentality are valuable assets to make the job of Project Management Officer a success.

  • HBO education level gained by experience or education
  • Experience as a Project Management Officer in an IT environment
  • ITIL (Change) management process preferred
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
  • Understands project management frameworks
  • Some understanding of IT-infrastructure architectures and processes
  • Planning and organizing skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality focus
