The receptionist is responsible for delivering office support in the broadest sense.
Your main responsibility will be creating a professional atmosphere for external customers and receiving visitors in an appropriate manner. Furthermore you will operate the main switchboard. Incoming calls will be mainly in English, therefore it is very important that you are fluent in English.
In addition you will be the first point of contact for internal colleagues regarding facility requests such as organizing lunches or meetings and booking internal meeting rooms. You will also ensure that office, canteen and pantry supplies are available and the office and cafeteria are organized and representative.
Booking flights for colleagues, and handling expense claims will also be part of the job.
You will report directly to the Senior Executive Assistant and you will work closely with our other receptionist and according to the reception handbook.
You will have at least a secondary degree (VMBO/MBO) and you will have good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook (including Calendar) and Excel. Preferably you have experience in the hospitality sector.
Naturally you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you know how to communicate clearly by phone and face to face. Furthermore you are accurate and representative.
You are used to and feel comfortable working in an international and customer focused environment.
Due to the nature of this position it is essential that you are fluent in English, both verbal and written, and also are fluent in Dutch.
