Our recent survey of 400+ cloud and hosting providers reveals that 73% of respondents in Europe are positive about future revenue impact from the cloud.
- Cloud and hosting providers in the US were more positive about the impact of cloud on their future revenue, with 88%
- At 96%, respondents in Spain were most optimistic in Europe. This was closely followed by the Nordics (83%) the UK (79%) and the Netherlands (70%)
Interestingly the vast majority of European cloud and hosting providers perceive increasing cloud adoption by enterprises as a revenue opportunity rather than as a threat to existing revenue.
The fact that respondents in Spain were most positive could be explained by the pace of cloud adoption in Spain, which has been greater than in the rest of Europe. As a result, the positive impact is more evident.
