You’ll be the go-to support person and administrator for our facilities management team of engineers, enabling them to focus on their technical work. This involves allocating tasks to the engineers as they come in, organising and recording meetings, writing up reports and the upkeep of our Ultimo system. You’ll also be liaising with senior managers, customers and suppliers, as well as external technical support teams. It’ll be up to you to keep things running smoothly to support the team, including spotting opportunities for new ways of working to improve processes. That means developing a network of contacts across the data centre and supporting other teams as and when required.
What you’ll need
Naturally, you’ll need to be well organised and an experienced administrator with a proactive attitude and a background in a data centre or similar technical environment. Used to scheduling work and raising quotes, POs and invoices, you’ll have a working knowledge of monthly reporting cycles for PPM tasks and contract service level agreements. A graduate or equivalent in a relevant subject, you’ll be fluent in English and a good communicator, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels. You’ll also have excellent MS-Office skills, while experience of AutoCAD or ITIL processes would be an advantage.
