You’ll make sure our technical infrastructure operates and is well-maintained to meet customer requirements. This means you’ll be liaising with teams across the data centre, as well as some customers and operating, managing, repairing and maintaining a range of systems to ensure a continuous service. Supporting third party suppliers, you’ll cover all power systems, plumbing, fire safety, roofing and external walls, checking they meet security standards and keeping all relevant documentation up-to-date. As well as auditing and monitoring systems and overseeing external contractors, you’ll also become a member of the on-call infrastructure team.
What you’ll need
- Senior engineer
- Technical training in either electrical, air conditioning, fire and physical security or CTM/BMS systems and experience of working in a data centre environment or similar.
- A good problem-solver
- Proactive approach and strong technical versatility
- Confident communicating with third party suppliers and customers in both English and French.
- Comfortable using Autocad, Computerised Maintenance Management System, Optimaint and MS-Project.
