Your role

You will be responsible for the financial accounting, monthly closings and SOX in respect of Fixed Assets area (CAPEX). You will assist in the development of CAPEX projects (Base Case) from financial site (consulting regarding assessment, posting codes etc). You will manage approvals of purchase orders, support for purchase orders for different departments (coding, projects, CAPEX vs OPEX). You will be working with various department managing CAPEX projects. You will lead the fixed asset tagging, auditing, and organization tasks including Internal Controls.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in Accounting with extensive Fixed Assets (CAPEX) experience in a progressive accounting environment
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting rules, the German Commercial Code (HGB) and SOX or similar rules
  • Team Leading experience, with a structured, analytical approach and an openness to learning new skills
  • Project management knowledge (ITIL framework)
  • University Degree, preferably in accounting or auditing
  • Fluent in both English and German
