Group Service Design Engineer

The Group Service Design Engineer oversees the technical pre-contract phase (Lead to contract) ensuring a full design based customer requirements. In this busy role you will be liaising with country teams, providing HQ level guidance and monitoring to ensure that they are aligned. You will be supporting our Sales and Bid management teams during Lead to Contract process (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and guiding customers in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies. You will also own and manage the AutoCad drawing "playbook" and Library, helping to create and set company wide standards and policies.
What you’ll need
- Degree level or equivalent would be desirable but not a pre-requisite
- Project management skills / qualification would be desirable but not a pre-requisite
- 4+ years’ experience in a Service Design or Pre-Sales role Knowledge of data centers or in an electrical or industrious environment is a distinct advantage
- Fluent in English
- Strong level of experience with AutoCad
