Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

Your role

Based in our Amsterdam headquarters, you’ll carry out a variety of financial admin duties to support the Team Leader of Accounts Payable, and work together to deliver the full range of finance and accounting services for the company HQ. From preparing, recording and reporting transactions to distributing invoices, following up on disputes and missing POs and processing expenses and payments for approval, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly. This includes checking, correcting, processing and reconciling a wide range of documents, as well as reviewing and coding financial information, making deposits, preparing reports and maintaining records. Alongside these tasks, you will also be assisting the Finance Manager with preparing finance statements and reports for internal and external audits.

What you’ll need

  • Strong bookkeeping knowledge and experience of the accounts payable process.
  • Know your way around Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as ERP Finance System.
  • Self-motivated and well-organised.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels across our business.
  • At least MBO+/HBO education.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
