Your role

You’ll manage the data centre maintenance plan and oversee all our maintenance, repairs, upgrades and expansion activity to ensure we follow best practice and minimise costs. This means you’ll set up and review a preventative infrastructure maintenance plan and will always be on the lookout for areas of improvement. Working closely with senior managers, you’ll create reports to support budgeting. You’ll also manage internal maintenance teams and oversee third party contractors to ensure all work meets the highest standards. In short, you’ll keep the data centre running effectively for our customers.

What you’ll need

  • Extensive experience of managing technical facilities management teams in a mission critical international mechanical and electrical environment.
  • A proven team manager, you’ll be used to managing large-scale maintenance projects over multiple sites and will have experience of continuous process improvement and managing metrics and KPIs.
  • You’ll be a persuasive communicator, with the ability to adapt your approach for people at different levels.
  • An awareness of RCA management frameworks and IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, you’ll have a higher national certificate in a technical field and BIFM or similar training accreditation.
