Brick Lane, London

Administration & Office Support, 26 September 2019

Your role

If being an organisation’s highly efficient first point of contact, both face-to-face and over the phone, is something you excel at, you could soon be doing just that at Interxion’s UK head office. This role involves more than welcoming visitors and taking phone calls though. We’ll also rely on you (supported by a cleaning company) to ensure our office and cafeteria areas are tidy and presentable in order to provide a professional and welcoming environment. Managing the booking of meeting rooms will be important too, as will processing purchase orders and liaising with stationery and kitchen suppliers. Ordering taxis, arranging couriers, distributing the mail, checking stock levels and playing your part in ad hoc office support projects – all are aspects of a varied role that will see you be ‘the face of Interxion’.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience in a reception role
  • A professional appearance and welcoming demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a good telephone manner
  • An organised, proactive and customer focused approach
  • A good level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in English, both written and orally, with other European languages an advantage
