Operations, 23 October 2019
Reporting to the Site Manager in our Dublin data centre, you’ll carry out a variety of engineering projects on our buildings and equipment to minimise downtime. This will involve monitoring, reporting on, maintaining, repairing and installing a range of facilities and systems, as well as implementing and supporting customer requirements. As our customers’ hands and eyes on-site, you’ll respond to alarms quickly and efficiently, so we meet our SLAs. You’ll also oversee the work of external suppliers and manage any technical or operational issues. At the same time, you’ll be a mentor to junior team members, sharing your technical knowledge and making health and safety a priority.
What you’ll need
- Strong technical engineering skills
- Experience of a fast-paced environment, ideally a data centre or similar
- An understanding of procedures and process
- A proactive, can-do attitude, with a focus on teamwork
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently, and adapt to different challenges
- Secondary education in a technical field
- Clear communication skills in English – other European languages desirable
