Your Role

Reporting to the site manager, you’ll maintain and repair all buildings and equipment to reduce downtime and ensure our data centre continues to meet customer needs. This will involve regularly monitoring buildings and equipment, carrying out maintenance and repairs and documenting all work, as well as overseeing the work of third party suppliers. You’ll also support the implementation of customer systems and will be the first line response to alarms, as part of our 24/7 call-out team. With a focus on quality and safety, you’ll ensure we meet our SLAs and flag any areas for concern.

What you’ll need

  • Experience of working in a data centre.
  • Familiar with electrical and signalling diagrams and used to working with infrastructure such as diesel generators, UPS and cooling systems.
  • You’ll be a qualified electrician, with a technical educational background and experience of working in a technology-critical environment.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to deliver quality work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure role.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, as well as Dutch.
  • Strong client focus.
  • Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts.
