Vigtige kundeinformationer og retningslinjer vedrørende Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Information in English below

Customer statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the most recent recommendations from governmental authorities and the World Health Organisation, we have, with immediate effect, decided to take the following precautions at our data centre campus in Denmark to prevent the spread of the virus.

We ask all our customers to only visit our campus to carry out important work in the data centre.

At the same time, we also ask our customers to send as few persons as possible to get the work done. If your work is not important, we kindly ask you to postpone your visit. This also impacts planned on-site audits, which we would also kindly ask you to postpone.

When you are at the site, please try to make your visit as short as possible and carry out your tasks swiftly. Long stays in our customers' lounges, meetings with clients at the site, site tours and training sessions are not allowed for now.

As another preventative precaution, we will allow access only via the main reception. We are asking this to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and thereby protect our employees, customers and overall operations.

Currently, there are no direct impacts to data centre operations. To ensure that there will be no or limited direct impacts to our delivery of services in the future, Interxion is taking the following additional measures:

  • We have implemented a dispersion plan for all critical roles to run the data centre

  • We have implemented a European SWAT team of extra engineers to run the data centres if needed

  • All employees that are not critical to running the data centre operations are asked to work from home

  • All travel that is not business-critical is banned

  • Extra daily cleaning of the facility is implemented

  • Additional sanitary articles and hand sanitizers has been added

  • New arrangements for food delivery for the data centres have been implemented

  • All non-business critical face-to-face meetings are replaced with digital calls

  • We have regular risk assessment meetings to monitor and review the latest developments

As a precaution, you won’t be admitted entrance to the data centres in the following circumstances:

  • Having travelled in the past 14 days or you have been in close contact with someone who has been abroad.

  • Currently experiencing any of the following symptoms, including a fever (>100.4° F, 38°C), cough or difficulty breathing

  • Currently under quarantine, as prescribed by a doctor or public health authority

  • If in the past 14 days, have had any close contact with a person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or anyone exhibiting the symptoms listed above.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation, assess the risks, and take the necessary action to ensure the continued operation of our facilities and services. If you have any further questions concerning the above, please contact us at Nordic-Quality@interxion.com

We thank you for your comprehension.

STATEMENT FROM OUR CEO

“Here at Digital Realty, we are monitoring and managing the COVID-19 pandemic globally, across 20 countries, 44 metropolitan areas, and with one overall goal in mind: to keep our employees, customers, and partners safe. But more than that, we know that we have a broader responsibility—to the industries, governments, and families who rely on our 267 data centers around the world to connect, to keep in touch, and to keep commerce and information flowing.

With the rapid spread of COVID19—and our increased reliance on technology and the infrastructure it runs on, in an era of social distancing—Digital Realty’s responsibility is more critical than ever. As such, we want to share the significant measures we are taking to continue fulfilling this responsibility. Please take a moment to understand them on our COVID-19 site.

Additionally, we want you to know that “Interxion: A Digital Realty Company,” the EMEA organization of our newly combined company, is taking equally strong measures, in coordination with ours. Together, we are doing all that we can to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. All of us are in unchartered waters. But know that we are executing on our responsibility, with a magnitude equal to the job at hand.”
