The network and connectivity landscape is evolving rapidly due to the new demands posed by the digital economy. Content and applications are brought closer to the user to accelerate service delivery and improve latency.

The large interconnectivity nodes in the United States and Europe are no longer the only alternatives to connect. There has been a decentralization of services and in southern Europe there is a growing demand for network connectivity. Thus, a new digital node is born in the South Europe, where submarine cables are arriving from Latin America, Africa and the United States to serve an increasing number of users of cloud services and content.
