Secure data centres are increasingly important
When it comes to the physical part of IT solutions, NNIT has worked with the data centre provider Interxion since 2008. A collaboration that intensified further in 2017, when NNIT chose to make a larger investment and build a new data centre at Interxion.
In general, hacker attacks and harder regulation of data storage have resulted in back-up and infrastructure solutions high on the agenda of Danish businesses. NNIT finds that companies in the highly regulated industries are increasingly demanding certified security solutions, which go far beyond standard, because they know that an IT crash can have devastating consequences for the business.
"Our customers' requirements are colossally high. Especially within regulated industries such as finance and life sciences, they require the best of the best, and only about 60 data centres in the world have the same high security standards as NNIT and Interxion," says Hans-Henrik Langsted, Corporate Vice President at NNIT.
Access to clouds and networks
The collaboration with Interxion means that NNIT can deliver redundant certified infrastructure solutions in several different locations. In addition, NNIT is experiencing an increasing demand from global customers and in this context highlights the benefits of collaborating with an international data centre partner.
