PARIS, FRANCE, 27 February 2018 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services, today announced that NeuroChain, a company developing new technology based on a distributed infrastructure and a new consensus algorithm allowing blockchain applications to be rolled out on a large scale, has chosen to house its platform in Interxion's data centres.
NeuroChain is an ecosystem that represents an evolution of the blockchain, using machine learning and artificial intelligence to drastically improve the capacity and the performance of blockchain-style distributed systems.
NeuroChain is also a technological platform designed to host collective artificial intelligence applications based on four key concepts to revolutionise the blockchain:
- It works thanks to intelligent, ultra-fast, safe and reliable bots;
- It is a collective artificial intelligence ecosystem;
- It uses an ingenious decision-making protocol to improve performance;
- It is an open source initiative.
These four key concepts allow the creation of intelligent, safe, very fast and extremely reliable applications, which improve the transparency, the traceability, the processes to exchange, to select and to secure data. These features provide a response to the requirements of all players: financial (disintermediation), 4.0 manufacturing (IoT), institutional (tax revenue), cultural (e-learning), charitable (donations), etc.
Its creators want to offer a platform based on an infrastructure that offers the highest level of service and allows secure exchanges of large amounts of data. This service could be accessible to all European data-centre customers in the Interxion group.
“Our aim is for NeuroChain to be identified as one of the biggest blockchain projects. Interxion is the only company able to offer a level of service that meets our requirements, with preferential connectivity to the big cloud players, and a presence throughout Europe, to support our ambitions”, explains Frédéric Goujon, founder of NeuroChain.
“The new decentralised applications will need to interface with existing applications, in the infrastructures of our customers and, increasingly, with cloud applications such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services, and Interxion provides this ability. Welcoming a new player in digital transformation to our data centres is an indication of the group’s desire to bring together the various players in the digital industry on its sites”, explains Fabrice Coquio, President of Interxion France.
Presented in collaboration with Interxion at Microsoft Experiences 2017 in Paris and launched in November 2017, NeuroChain anticipates rolling out its applications over the course of 2018.
