As IT systems become the backbone of our society, being able to connect to your data across devices, locations, or clouds, is essential to operate your business. With colocation, you are in full control of your own IT equipment without all the challenges associated with having to operate your own data centre infrastructure.
We have over 20 years of experience in offering flexible data centre and colocation hosting services, leading the industry with our practices in data centre design and operational excellence.
At Interxion: A Digital Realty Company, we provide colocation services across 6 continents, with over 300 state of the art data centres across 50 metros.

Colocation is the sharing of a data centre facility owned by a colocation provider, with servers belonging to businesses that lease the space.
Colocation allows businesses to expand their IT infrastructure off-premise without the need to build their own facilities. Colocating with Interxion offers enterprise level bandwidth, power, cooling, and connectivity at a reasonable cost.
Both solutions have the potential to be vulnerable to attack. Cloud services with Interxion offer secure, dedicated routes to the cloud minimising the attack surface significantly. On-premise often lacks physical security measures necessary to restrict access to bad actors on site.
Colocation cabinets provide individual storage for multiple servers in the same rack. At Interxion, each section can be secured with your own locks for added security.
Colocation hosting is a service offered by a colocation facility in which the provider is responsible for management of the physical data centre, including power, cooling, and redundancies for both, and leases the space to businesses. Businesses host their owned servers in the space provided by the colocation provider.
