Sedmi Odjel d.o.o. was founded in 2010. Its core business is providing leasing and IT infrastructure management. Their range of services includes: Managed Services, such as Operations, Management and Consulting; Infrastructure-as-a-Service, including Private and Hybrid Cloud as well as Storage-as-a-Service and Backup-as-a-Service. Along its eight years journey, the company has grown from a small startup to a large and respectable company delivering highly professional services to businesses across the globe.
For their Austrian subsidiary Sedmi Odjel needed a data centre operator offering onward connectivity in a well-managed hosting facility. Above all, it sought the security of a partner capable of matching the scale of its own growth plans, giving the reassurance that it could meet all commitments to its customers into the future. As a company focused on providing security and backup services Sedmi Odjel, moreover, places great value on information security. In order to handle their customers’ high security standards, the company has been certified to ISO27001 – the best-known standard for an information security management system (ISMS). It was therefore of primary importance that Sedmi Odjel’s data centre operator meets the same requirements.
Sedmi Odjel decided on colocating at Interxion’s Vienna facility. It was quicker to organize than building its own data centre and freed the company from concerns about sizing and scalability. Furthermore, Interxion’s data centre provides multilayered security and meets recognized international standards for information security management systems (BSI ISO 27001) and business continuity management (BSI ISO 22301) – factors companies count on when they choose Sedmi Odjel to host their IT infrastructures, allowing them to focus on their primary business.
We expect our partners to provide a high level of quality and performance. Therefore, only the best is good enough for us and our customers. Being a leader in the data centre environment, Interxion meets all of our requirements for availability, security and connectivity – and, additionally, provides a future-proof and energy-efficient infrastructure. Plus: the Vienna facility is a gateway to Central and Eastern Europe, which allows us to tap into new markets in the future
